Contact Lenses

Contact Lens Fitting

A separate fitting that measures your eye and trials lenses — so contacts feel right from day one.

Contact Lens Fitting

For new & current contact wearers.

You might need this if…

  • You want to try contacts
  • Your lenses feel dry by 3pm
  • Astigmatism or multifocal needs
  • Switching brands
  • Kids ready for contacts

What’s included

  • Corneal curvature measurement
  • Lens-design selection
  • Trial lenses & training
  • Daily, multifocal & toric options
  • A separate contact-lens prescription

A contact-lens fitting and prescription are separate from a comprehensive eye exam. A glasses prescription does not include contacts. Your prescriptions are always released to you to use anywhere.

Common questions

  • A standard eye exam gives you a glasses prescription. Contacts sit on your eye, so they need their own measurements — corneal curvature, lens design, and a trial to confirm fit and comfort. That’s why a contact-lens fitting is a separate service with its own fee, and it produces a separate contact-lens prescription.

  • Always. By law and by principle, your prescription is yours. We release your glasses and contact-lens prescriptions to you after your exam, and you’re free to purchase frames or contacts from us or anywhere you like. We’d love to show you the boutique — but there’s never any pressure.
